Full View Please!

I was going through a book and found an Ivy leaf I had pressed in there a long time ago and which I had forgotten. For some reason I just really wanted to see if I could paint on it :D
I know it got a little bit dark.. sry.. but I'll probably do this again so better luck next time^^

Abosuletly amazing. I like the idea of the painting in general, but the fact that it's painted on leaf really makes it special.

thank you :) ( haha as soon as my relatives found out ,they all started to collect leaves for me and press them. Now I've got like 10 dozen leaves waiting to be painted on :XD: and everyones asking "have you used mine yet?^^" It's really sweet of them but yea a bit too much of good will :D

Haha, I can see that happen in my family if I ever painted something similar :D For now I only get requests for pictures... Which can sometimes be pretty annoying too, as they sometimes seem to don't realize how much time (and even money) I put into my paintings :D

yeah same here. My Aunt asked me if I could do a family portrait of their family (aunt, uncle, 2 cousins). I said yea maybe if I find the time. A week later she calls my dad and complains why it isn't done yet and she reminded him that I promised ( I never really promised it !) her I'd draw the portrait.
So yea, its been on my desk for almost a year now because I just don't find the time to finish it, also I don't like my aunt much, neither do I like doing portraits that much^^ :P

Hmmm, sweet aunt :D No wonder you don't want to make a paintig for her :) I wouldn't either :D That's another thing, relatives seems to not realize that there are only some themes I can paint (or enjoy) and that portraits, for example, don't have to be one of them :D

Yea :XD: I know exactly what you mean. a lot of my friends in school always ask me to paint or draw this and that, not concidering that I am only human ;P Someone even asked for a Mona Lisa replicat :D I mean even todays best painters in the world would have trouble painting like Da vinci and they come to the idea of asking a little hobby wannabe artist from school if he could do it :D
